Week 2: Tuesday
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
In his letter to the Thessalonians, Paul tells us to never stop praying. That may sound like a good idea, but how do we do that? It’s not realistic to keep our heads bowed and eyes closed all day, but we can keep prayer on our minds as much as possible.
As you move throughout your day, give God a few shout-outs. Thank him for the family he placed you in. Let him know you need help being kind to the girl next to you in math class. Ask him for courage to try out for the team. Those simple prayers keep God on your mind throughout the day. And you’ll be surprised how you’ll see God work when you keep prayer in your heart.
