Small Group Leader
Small group leaders are the heartbeat of our student ministry. Everything we do is built to support leaders as they help students discover a faith of their own.
By leading the same group of students each week, separated by grade and gender, leaders create a safe place where students matter and belong. Each group is led by two adults and a high school student. Small group leaders don’t just support the ministry, they are the ministry.
Guest Services
Guest Services volunteers understand the importance of creating a welcoming and safe environment for students. They help new students feel at home and comfortable as well as ensure all students are checked in.
From high-fiving students to keeping our space secure, this team is vital in creating a safe place for students to process their faith.
Production
Production volunteers play a key role in shaping the student experience in Transit.
They help create an engaging large-group environment of hosting, games, music, video elements, and a message, preparing students for meaningful small group discussions around that week’s bottom line.
Special Needs
Our special needs volunteers come alongside students by helping them experience Transit with their unique needs in mind.
Some serve as Shadows by tracking with students who have minimal needs through large group and small group time. Others serve as Room Leaders by assisting students with individualized care. Our amazing special needs volunteers ensure each student is given the opportunity through Transit to discover and pursue a faith of their own.
