Mile Marker 8
beloved: an eighth grade girls event
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.”
The Transit staff and small group leaders invite our 8th-grade girls and their parents, or two mentor adults, to a shared experience celebrating the completion of middle school and the beginning of an exciting new season of life.
What Can I Expect?
Beloved will be a special event with your student that includes worship, dessert, a parting message from Transit, and an opportunity for parents to read a blessing over their daughter. Adults should come prepared with a letter to read out loud to their 8th grader.
Each student is allowed to bring two adult guests. If a parent is unable to attend the event, another special guest of the student is welcome to attend.
