An Event for Eighth-Grade Young Men and Their Fathers
As you know, your son’s time in Transit is coming to a close. We want to put an exclamation mark on his experience with us, so we’re inviting you to an event designed to do this in a significant way.
Transit’s annual Father/Son Pig Roast will take place on Saturday, May 13. This special event was created to celebrate your son and his Transit small group as he transitions from middle school to high school and begins the journey into manhood.
We’re excited to honor our 8th-grade guys for who they are and who they will become as they hear from their fathers (or other significant male role models, such as grandfathers, uncles, coaches, etc.).
What Do I Need to Bring?
The father or other male role model should come with a letter to read to his son in the presence of the son’s leaders and small group. More information about this letter will be sent to those who register.
