This Transit team will head to Portland, Oregon. Located in the Northwest, a short distance from snow-capped Mount Hood, Portland is the largest city in Oregon.

Students and parents will learn about social issues and join social service organizations in meeting needs of the marginalized. Your team will engage in service sites, such as: a food shelter, a clothing distribution center, a soup kitchen, a children’s program, a local garden, or elderly care facilities.

In the evenings, you will experience an outdoor adventure at Multnomah Falls, explore downtown Portland and help host a community cookout.

*Due to adherence to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, students under the age of 13 at the time of application must be added to a parent’s household before they can apply. Parents/guardians, please create an account and apply FIRST. You will then be prompted to add your student(s) to your household, which will allow them to apply.

Students who are 13 and over at the time of application may create their own individual accounts and apply separately from their parents/guardians. (both still need to submit applications)
