Transit Weekend FAQ

  • Students will be staying in host homes with their small group throughout the weekend. Typically, they stay in the home of one of the students in their group.
All adults in the home will be background checked.
You will receive an email the week of Transit Weekend with the address of the host home for your student’s small group.

  • Yes. We will have nurses and an EMT present during the main sessions. If your student requires medication during the event, please communicate with their small group leaders at check-in.

  • Please indicate any allergies in your student’s registration. We will do our best to accommodate your student’s food allergy throughout the weekend.

  • We offer financial assistance to families who need help due to a financial hardship. After the team reviews your application, they will determine if your student qualifies for a reduced rate and the amount. Our funding is limited, so a reduced rate is not guaranteed.
